Midnight SerenadeShe watched as the lights swirled in the sky. Their endless dance fascinating her as they always had. She smiles as a pair collided and became brighter then separated and went back to their dull glow. Softly she whispered to herself "fairies...” she shook her head and continued deeper into the forest to where a small pond awaited her. She could feel the trees sigh at her passing. They all knew her well and they all knew what she had come to do, and for that, they all were envious. She touched a few as she passed, lovingly caressing their rough bark as if it were the smoothest of skin. She came to a small arch made of wild ivy and brancheMidnight Serenade
